![]() Overall, he was fun to talk to, but it was pretty odd to have him come out so often and be a big part of our conversation. He tried to sell us some of his spice mix and rice mix. The cook came out a lot and talked with us and he seemed to be a know-it-all and somewhat prideful. My stirfry was delicious and I especially liked that it was devoid of oil, only sauteed in broth and soy sauce maybe? I really appreciated the healthiness of the stirfry. I ordered a stirfry and my friends ordered pasta and either lamb or prawns. He sat us down, asked what kind of meat and whether we. And there was only the cook running the whole show. There was no written menu, which I thought was odd. I had never been here before, but someone said it had great food. And had enough to make a second meal from the leftovers. (Don’t remember the exact price) and my daughter still talks about the chocolate dipped strawberries that were complementary. We had three steaks and soft drinks for around 80$. But just as with the menu - open your mouth to what you want And don’t be afraid to ask for the prices or to tell him you want some privacy. There were a group of business men from Australia taken along by an American local and they loved the food to. The dry rub with cream saus for the steak are truly something you don’t find everywhere else. I still remember the Thai basil With cream in the vegetable stir fry. I find it weird that people see it otherwise. and people who don’t see that should stick to bennie Hanna and the likes. ![]() As a chef in Europe, I have to say this is great food. I went here a year ago, on our travels threw the USA and it was the most memorable meal we had. I just had to write a review because of the negativity. This was definitely not cheap, but I am happy to pay for unique experiences and will hopefully be back in the area in the future and will return. We did did get an itemized check at the end, just a total amount. The host/chef/owner was very welcoming, informative, helpful and attentive. The interior of the restaurant was clean but very plain in contrast to the exceptional food. All of us really liked what we had and we bought a bag of the seasoning used for our protein. My mashed potatoes were not exceptional like the meat and vegetables. The prime rib I had was super in taste and size. The vegetables served with the meal had a sauce on them that made them the best vegetables I remember eating. Two of us eat gluten free and we were informed that everything was gluten free. proteins we chose sea bass, halibut, rack of lamb ribs and prime rib. Note that there were no prices beside the different items. Four of us chose the option to select a protein for our meal rather one of the dishes listed on the menu written on the wall.
